Ms. Hidalgo – Preprimary Directress
Ms. Hidalgo has been a treasured member of the MCS community for five years as the Lead Directress in the Preprimary classroom. For her, the best part of MCS is the close-knit community and strong bond with families, as well as the joy of watching her students grow and reach new milestones. Seeing young learners tackle challenges, develop confidence, and light up with smiles makes each day rewarding.
Her journey to MCS began when a parent from her previous school recommended it, saying she’d fall in love with Montessori—and they were right. After interviewing, researching, and asking countless questions, she was captivated by the Montessori method and has been deepening her knowledge ever since. With a background in Early Childhood Education and a Montessori Early Childhood certificate (3–6), Ms. Hidalgo brings a hybrid approach to her classroom, blending traditional learning with Montessori principles to create a well-rounded experience for her students.
Ms. Hidalgo works with children ages 3–6 and cherishes the growth, stories, and endless hugs that come with teaching this age group. Watching her three-year-olds blossom over the years brings her great joy and fulfillment.
Outside of school, Ms. Hidalgo values time with her family, especially her husband and their playful puppy, Chewy. In the spring of 2025, they welcomed their first child, Raiden—a long-awaited and deeply meaningful addition to their family. Becoming parents has been a profound and joyful milestone, one that continues to shape their lives in beautiful ways. She also enjoys board games and video games, bringing her fun-loving spirit into every aspect of her life.
With a heart for connection and a passion for guiding young learners, Ms. Hidalgo makes MCS a warm and inspiring place to grow.
