Ms. KIM – preprimary Assistant

Ms. Kim brings a quiet confidence, deep knowledge, and calming presence to her role as a Preprimary Assistant at MCS. With more than 15 years of teaching experience and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, she brings both seasoned expertise and fresh enthusiasm to the classroom each day.

What Ms. Kim loves most about Montessori education is how it seamlessly weaves nature into the learning process. Whether it’s gathering leaves for a sorting work, observing clouds during an outdoor lesson, or simply taking a moment to feel the breeze, she delights in watching children connect to the natural world with curiosity and wonder. “There are so many treasures outside,” she says, “and children naturally know how to discover and delight in them.”

Her favorite part of working with young learners is seeing the exact moment something clicks—when a child lights up after grasping a new concept or mastering a task. It’s in those moments, she says, that the real magic of teaching happens.

Known for her calm demeanor, thoughtful observations, and supportive guidance, Ms. Kim creates a space where each child feels safe, respected, and empowered to grow. Her quiet strength is a perfect match for the rhythm of the Montessori classroom, where children are encouraged to move at their own pace and follow their inner curiosity.

Outside of school, Ms. Kim enjoys time with her family, being outdoors, and continuing her own lifelong learning journey—just like the children she teaches.
